Jeremy Shoda and Michelle Kaneko formed Toast Event Design LLC (Toast-ED) in early 2004 as a means to better package and promote the small “architect socials” the two had begun to be known for within their professional community since 2002. Quite literally, these two are architects—graduates of the UH-SoA with degrees in Architecture. Both have worked in their respective fields at award-winning architectural firms on several local and international building projects for five years before launching their independent event planning and design studio, Toast. CAD drawings and punchlists aside, Jeremy and Michelle currently focus on providing customized event design and visual communication design services to interested clientele.
